Junes VacationRental homes in Savannah Georgia went undamaged during the Hurricane Irma episode.
Early last week the path of Irma was projected to hit Savannah head on. This caused the local authorities to order a mandatory evacuation. So we boarded up the houses and relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina. We are very happy to report that when we got back this week there was very little damage to the city and no damage at all to our Carriage House or the 2 bedroom townhouse. The power was out for a short time but the city is back up an running so don’t be afraid to book yourself a nice trip to Savannah.
Book now to hold a spot to get out of the snow in January
For our friends in the frozen North now is the time to book for a January visit. Daily rates are the lowest of the year in January. And this is the absolute best weather time of the year. The days are warm and not humid and the evenings are cool but you only need a light jacket. I know that it is hard to think about getting away when you are having mild fall weather but by early January you will undoubtedly be tired of the snow. January dates book fast so don’t wait too long.
We hope to see you soon
