COVID Restrictions are Ending!

Georgia Governor Kemp Allows Safe and Sane Practices to resume as of May 1st, 2020

This will be good news for all of you stuck at home for the past 40 days. if you are itching to get outside and enjoy some sunshine them come on down to Savannah. the restaurants are slowly re-opening and most of the shops are on limited or light hours as of April 29th. However, the parks are open, the weather is beautiful and there are enough places open where you can either dine in or take out for you to have plenty of options.

In addition, many vacation rental homes have full kitchens and private yards that allow you the ability to be outside without being forced to interact with others if you don’t want to. The grocery stores are open and decently stocked so there is plenty of food and provisions available.

As of April 28th Chatham County has reported only 207 confirmed cases and only 7 deaths in total.  While 7 deaths is certainly terrible for the families involved it has been much better than large densely populated cities.  Many people are wearing masks and behaving in a polite yet appropriate manner so when you are ready to travel again, I hope you will consider our fair city.

We have not let this downtime go to waste as we have used the time to make additional renovations and updates to our properties to make them even nicer and safer for our guests. In particular, while we have always had the properties professionally cleaned after each stay we are now focusing an extra effort to sanitize all of the hard surfaces that harbor germs.

We truly care about your safety so if you have any questions or concerns definitely reach out.
